This policy explains what personal information Saba Gate collects, why, and what control you have over it. Saba Gate is a multi-vendor marketplace — we facilitate transactions between independent vendors and customers.
When you create an account: your name, and at least one of email or phone number. Password is stored hashed — we never see or store it in plain text. Signing in with Google shares your Google account's name, email, and profile photo with us.
When you check out — whether or not you have an account — we collect the delivery name, phone number, and address for that order. This is retained as part of your order history even if you later delete your account, so vendors and support can still reference past orders.
Optional profile information: avatar photo, preferred language, saved delivery address for future checkouts.
Activity data: products you follow or react to, vendors you follow, comments you leave, and basic usage analytics (which tabs and products you view) used to personalize your feed and improve the product.
If you enable push notifications, we store a device token to deliver them.
To operate the marketplace: process orders, connect you with vendors, provide customer support, and send order-status notifications.
To personalize what you see (recommended products, followed-vendor updates).
To keep the platform secure — rate limiting and abuse prevention use technical data (like IP address) but not to identify you personally beyond that purpose.
Vendors see the order details (name, phone, address, items) needed to fulfill your order — nothing more.
Service providers we use to operate the platform: Cloudinary (image hosting), Google (optional sign-in), Upstash (rate-limiting infrastructure — no personal data stored there beyond ephemeral counters), and our hosting provider. New order and support-chat notifications are also relayed internally to our team via Slack.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we don't share it for third-party advertising.
You can update your profile information at any time from your account settings.
You can request account deletion or a copy of your data by contacting us (see below). Deleting your account removes your profile, saved products, and follow/reaction history; your past order records are retained (see above) as a business and dispute-resolution record.
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date above and, where required, notify you directly.
